In "Life is a Breeze" and "Life is a Breath", Cang Yuan tries to ask questions about space - is space a form of cognition? Can illusion also be equated with structure?
The space in these two paintings is the artist's personal space and a new space. It also represents the artist's rebellion against the original geometric space and the premise that the real world is the only reality. The space in the works is primordial and constructed according to both the natural space and the ambiguity of consciousness.
The "breeze" and "breath" in the picture do not come from ordinary feelings caused by the real world but are generated when the artist casts himself on the body and consciousness, which once again confirms that idea and feeling are the inherent nature of a person.
