Tianxing Lotus - Lam Tianxing Ink Art Exhibition Grand Opening
Tianxing Lotus – Lam Tianxing Ink Art Exhibition grand opened on 21 July 2017 at the Art of Nature International. More than hundreds of guests, including celebrities from cultural and art field, attended the event. Deepest appreciation towards warm responses and positive comments received for the event.
During the opening ceremony, Prof. Cheng Pei-kai, Chairman of the Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee, Dr. Cissy Cheung, President of Art of Nature International and artist Lin Tianxing shared their views on this exhibition with guests. The theme ‘Tianxing Lotus’ calligraphy was written by Prof. Cheng Pei-kai for the exhibition. Prof. Cheng expressed his appreciation towards Lin Tianxing’s lotus artworks. Those artworks create a new prospect in Chinese art and culture. He hopes that more young people would appreciate, carry forward and revive the traditional Chinese culture. Dr Cissy Cheung said it takes time to read and understand the lotus depicted by Lin Tianxing. When you read it carefully, you will find the virtuousness of the lotus invisibly purify your soul and mind. Tinxing’s artworks are worthy of collection and appreciation. Collection is not difficult. Invest on it if you value the artwork. Collection creates joy. Collection is the process of continuous learning and making improvement. Collection is the life attitude in the future. Tianxing’s lotus does not only present us the value of appreciation, those lotus collectors would definitely embrace a stunning future.
Art of Nature International gallery exhibits 30 pieces of Lin Tianxing’s recent lotus artworks. Half of these artworks are small in size and great for home decoration. They are suitable for beginner level’s collection. Lotus is one of Tianxing’s most favorable subjects. It is a symbol of holy and purity. His precise handling of the shapes endorses the gracefulness and elegance of lotus. His style of painting does not limit to intricate details but also splendid freehand brushwork. It deviates from the backbone of traditional Chinese calligraphy and yet does not constraint by it.
The exhibition lasts until 31 August 2017. Art lovers are welcome to experience the charm of Tianxing’s Lotus !
