In the 20th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China, the 10th and 5th anniversary of the establishment of Art of Nature International and Art of Nature Contemporary Gallery. We proudly present The New Force.Wu’s Ink Lineage – Zhang Guo En Ink Art Exhibition. Taking such occasion to pay tribute to traditional Chinese culture. More than 30 pieces of Zhang’s work will be exhibited. Zhang Guoen’s ink painting captures the essence of traditional Chinese ink art and absorbs the nutrients from the profoundly rich historical culture substance of Chinese culture. He is the member of Shanghai Political Consultative Committee and most importantly the 4th generation successor of Wu Changshuo.
Zhang’s ink painting is base on Wu Changshuo Chinese calligraphy. The line structure is the soul. His strokes are mature yet refreshing with bold and colorful images. Transcends the most ordinary objects, such as litchi, chick, pomegranate, grasshopper, flowers, fruits and vegetables, to the virtue of life. Zhang’s blunt calligraphy brush work is a classic Stone Drum style from Wu Changshuo.
Zhang’s ink painting is now a new force bases on traditional essence of Chinese culture. In a way, Zhang is promoting Wu’s grand master’s ideology and wisdom, on the other hand, revealing a remarkable charm of the Chinese arts and culture to the world.
